ALPI USA, Inc. has an opening for Food Division Marketing Specialist in Valley Stream, NY.
The job duties include: Monitor and identify new business opportunities in logistics for overseas food industry , review and analyze current logistics trends based on knowledge of the market logistics, industry trade associations, trade shows and networking events, and consult other sources of information, Identify decision makers at target clients, maintain a good understanding of client business segment and of solutions and prices proposed by the competition, prepare new clients and accounts for operations colleagues, identify and analyze customer needs and develop solutions adapted to client expectations, gather data for the preparation of service agreement/contract, anticipate evolution of customer demands and translate those into service offerings, responsible for ongoing, continuous market development with attendance at industry networking events, and hosting of customer entertainment meetings, gather and share with staff, verbally or in written form, pertinent market information and data on existing and prospective clients as well as on emerging industry trends and competitor activities.

Requires 24 months experience in business development within logistics for overseas food industry as well as 24 months experience in international freight handling. High school diploma required. Salary is $61,797.
